About Speaker
Kelda Senior is the business development manager for the Florida Turnpike’s SunTrax project. In this role, Kelda establishes and manages business relationships with future SunTrax users and partners, while overseeing the facility’s outreach and public relation initiatives. For the past 10 years, Kelda has served as a public relations and community outreach specialist in local, state and federal government, with an emphasis on the transportation sector since 2012. Kelda holds a B.A. in journalism and a master of public administration – both from the University of Central Florida. Centrally located between Tampa and Orlando in Polk County, Florida, SunTrax is a large-scale, state-of-the-art facility being developed by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) dedicated to the research, development and testing of emerging transportation technologies in safe and controlled environments – including electric, shared-use, connected and autonomous mobility technology. |
